Development Environment

Use Python 3.11+, Node.js 20+, or Go 1.22+. Store credentials in a local secret manager or .env file excluded from source control.

For local integration tests, record fixtures from sandbox and set a short client timeout. Never copy live keys into browser bundles; route browser traffic through your backend or complete OAuth with PKCE.
