SteamDeals is a developer platform for discovering computer games, comparing store offers, tracking price history, and automating price-drop workflows. The public API is served from https://api.steamdeals.example/v1; the real-time endpoint is wss://realtime.steamdeals.example/v1.

What you can build

• A price-comparison page using canonical games and current offers.
• A deal feed filtered by region, store, discount, genre, or platform.
• Personalized watchlists, alerts, and notifications for authenticated users.
• A warehouse sync using exports and signed webhooks.

SteamDeals does not sell games or process checkout. A purchase_url always leads to the merchant that owns the offer.

Sandbox and production

Sandbox uses https://sandbox.api.steamdeals.example/v1, deterministic sample data, and keys prefixed sd_test_. Production keys begin with sd_live_.
